FLASS scholars win four medals in 2022 International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIIC)
The International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIIC) is an annual invention competition that brings together outstanding inventors from all over the world. This year, EdUHK took home five awards, including three Gold Medals and two Silver Medals at IIIC. Among them, two Gold Medals and two Silver Medals were awarded to FLASS scholars.
Since 2022, EdUHK’s inventions have obtained 37 honours from three international invention contests, setting a new record. Our award-winning innovations cover educational technologies and the passing down of Chinese culture, waste recycling, and intelligent healthcare. All reflect the widening scope of our research. As a result of these award-winning projects, the university has become known for its strength in the field of educational technology as well as the high level of praise it has received from the Asian community.
FLASS is well-poised for the challenge of turning its research outputs into practical solutions for everyday life problems. As a faculty offering a diverse mix of programmes in natural sciences, social sciences, policy and area studies, health and physical education, cultural and creative arts, mathematics and information technology, FLASS will continue to significantly contribute towards the university’s knowledge transfer endeavours.
